Facing Sleeplessness
 
Many of us regularly face insomnia (sleeplessness) though they are psychologically or physically tired. It leads to headache, irritability and loss of concentration.

Ample amount of sleep is actually essential as health, intelligence, strength, power of perception, length of healthy life span, reproductive capacity are directly proportional to quality of sleep during night hours. So, sleeplessness should be taken into account consciously.


To avoid sleeplessness -

1) Make a habit to drink buffalo milk with ghee at bedtime.

(Have milk at least 1.5 hours after dinner) ( This remedy for insomnia...not a healthy habbit)

2) Consciously include curd and ghee in your food.

(Don’t include curd in dinner. You can have curd for lunch or breakfast only when it is accompanied by ghee, amala, moong soup, sugar, and honey. Don't consume curd in summer)

3) Do full body massage regularly. Use Chandan bala lakshadi tail, and bala tail for massage. If not available, season oil will do.


4) Do head massage and foot massage regularly.

5) Keep your bedroom pleasant. The bed and pillows should be comfortable and neat.

6) Shut down your laptop, mobile, and T.V. at a specific time and get rid of topics creating psychological pressure.

If you won’t get relief after these means within a month, consult any Ayurvedic doctor and get Shirodhara, Netratarpan, or Shiropichu done as per advice.
